Custom Pieces

Each and every piece made by Joanna is sentimentally handmade, due to this there may be some imperfections.

For resin pieces: Every care has been taken to avoid dust speckles, micro bubbles, layer lines, uneven edging etc. - these are not classed as defects and will not be refunded for.

For framed pieces: Every care has been taken to remove all the silica from your flowers but there may be a small amount released within your frame once secured. This can be easily removed by releasing one edge of the frame back and letting it fall out. This is not classed as a defect and will not be refunded for.

Frames: All frames used to encapsulate your floral preservation are ordered from local stockist. I offer two frame options of different quality. It is the clients responsibility to consider the different options and upgrades before the flowers arrive with me.

Your flowers are a natural product and overtime can change colour and age, please ensure you keep your pieces away from direct sunlight, away from heat source and anywhere humid/damp. There's no way to determine how quickly your flowers will fade as there's many variating factors that can contribute to this. White and light flowers can change the quickest in frames

Before arrival with me

If your flowers go missing in the post or arrive damaged, I cannot be held accountable. Your florist should be able to provide specific care tips for the variety of flowers within your bouquet.I recommend keeping your flowers in water, in a cool shaded location between your wedding day and arriving with me. If posting, I recommend sending the day after the wedding - first class tracked.

If your flowers arrive wilted/ dead, they'll be put to dry in their currently condition and I will try and save as many as possible, I will then make contact with you with the following options;

  1. Continue with your order - please note if you opt for this option, the visual end results will not be the same as flowers in good condition, there's more chance of bruising, translucent spots and the overall look of the flowers will appear more aged. I may also not be able to fulfil your original order, this may need to be reduced or options changed to suit the condition and the amount of flowers that can be salvaged.

  2. Replace the wilted flowers, these will be as close to your original flowers as possible, or if the whole bouquet has arrived wilted, a replica bouquet can be discussed. This will delay your order as I would need to order replica flowers, this will also involve the additional costs of replacing your original bouquet.

  3. Cancel your order, if you opt for this option your deposit will remain non refundable, it is client responsibility to ensure their flowers arrive to me in good condition.

Drop Off

It is best that I preserve your flowers within 5 days of your wedding date, if you wish to drop off your bouquet with me, I require at least 48 hours notice to ensure that I am either present to receive the flowers or can prepare for your drop off in my absence.

Deposit and remaining balance

The deposit of £50.00 is non-refundable. This amount comes off the remaining balance which is due 4 weeks from the day I receive your flowers. Your invoice and all communication from myself will be sent through email.

If I have not received a deposit for your booking before your flowers arrive with me, I reserve the right to cancel your order. Please ensure your email is active, sometimes my emails can go to your spam/junk folder. Late payments could delay your order.

If you choose to cancel your order after your flowers have arrived with me, or paid the remaining balance the following charges will be non refundable. Postage and packaging to return your flowers £20.00, storage fees at £10 per month and any work already carried out will be deducted from your refund amount. Your deposit will remain non-refundable.

No changes to your order can be made after your flowers have been put to dry as a specific preservation method was chosen to fit the initial order.

Please ensure your invoice is correct before settling in full, I work from settled invoices when it comes to making your order. If your invoice has been settled and made correctly to your invoice, no refund will be offered.

Staying in contact

All contact regarding your order is made through email. Messages and phone calls through social media/whatsapp can be difficult to track. Name changes shortly after the wedding can also make it tricky to match names to orders.

Turnaround time

Once I receive your flowers they will be drying for 4-6 weeks, after this time I will begin working on your piece/pieces. My current turnaround time is 3-12 months, this is due to many factors such as the size of your order, temperature, humidity ect.

I am unable to provide specific timescales, and even if I attempt to guess a timescale I cannot be held accountable for ensuring this is met. I will not rush an order and ask that patience during this time is granted.

I will provide three updates during the preservation process:

  1. When I receive your flowers with your invoice.

  2. When your order has been started.

  3. When your order is complete.

All updates are sent through email.
